Challenge 6 ••• Ich Bin Kunst ••• Nice: Fashion and art are inseparable. Some say fashion immitates art, while others say art immitates fashion. Zoraya proposes the idea to Le Musee d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain to hold a special exhibition that incorporates art and high fashion together. The proceeds of this event will, of course, be donated to several charity organizations. The museum is delighted to go along with her idea. They organize a fashion show from the world renown fashion houses to showcase on a runway decorated lavishingly with the art pieces from the museum. Oh my but when the day comes, what a bad timing it is when it's THAT time of the month for her. Totally not in the good mood plus having to cope with all her discomfort, she knows she has to bite the bullet and just go for it. You know what they say, "The show must go on ... no matter how crampy we feel". Zoraya is to open the show. And when the futuristic music starts, she struts along the runway in an incredily fabulous DOVES dress by Nomoir. She looks like a master piece herself. From head to toe. Her signature walk is as fierce as ever. Her captivating image just takes everyone's breath away. Ironically, her look is called "Couture Space Preggo". As she stops at the end of the runway and strikes a fierce pose, the flashlights flare in a frenzy. She ponders, "That's right, people. Appreciate me. For I am art! Ich bin Kunst!". [Insert applause here] The event is the talk of the town. The organizer thanks Zoraya with a gigantic flower bouquet and a bottle of Moet & Chandon Dom Perignon White Gold, which really makes her feel better already after half a bottle is gone ... into her. BACK TO THE FURTUR SHOW The SW&MB Productions is pleased to invite you to Back To The Future Fashion Show On November the 19th, 1 PM SLT "Back to the future" is a new, experimental, show-event, specifically planned to showcase designers who create contemporary outfits as well as those fine tailors with a specific love for the past or futuristic tendencies, who base their creations following past fashion and culture or imagine how fashion will be within the very next decades. We are going to present a collection of outfits from the nineteenth century and from the first years of the twentieth century, as well as some focusing on contemporary fashion and last but not the least, futuristic ones. Our goals are to highlight how much fashion has changed in the arc of 100-150 years, to show what influences past fashion trends on contemporary creations and how these are likely to turn into what will be the fashion of the future. The showcased designers are, chronologically: Le Grenier Du Chateau, Ginevra Lancaster Fashion, **DD STYLE**, ALB Fashion, Gems&Kisses, Miamai.Tiny Boudoir. DJ Habbanero Barbosa will meanwhile play some themed music for your ears delight, going from the indie-new wave (New Order, Bow Wow Wow, Gang Of Four, Siouxsie and the Bainshees, Electrelane) to some old classics (The Andrews Sisters) to contemporary and trance works (Goldfrapp, La Roux, Simian Mobile Disco, M83). Back To The Future is a SW&MB Production, organised by Salvo Waydelich, Mimmi Boa and Dahlia Joubert. It is also sponsored by Primajicka Studios And Essential Soul Studio n Poses.
